Speaker biography:
Omar Domínguez is a prominent electrical engineer with extensive academic training, including a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with specializations in mechatronics and automatic control. He has also taught at numerous universities around the world and has published over 160 academic papers. In addition, he has won numerous awards for his work on research and technological development projects, and has been president of the National Academy for Research in Robotics and a member of the National System of Researchers. He is currently a tenured research professor at the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo and head of the Advanced Robotics and Haptic Interfaces Research Laboratory.
