Abstract:
The conference 'Adaptation and Evolution of UX to the Changing Needs of the Market: An Analysis of Current Trends' will analyze the increasingly relevant influence of user experience (UX) design in the era of digitalization. It will address how the pandemic has catalyzed the need for effective UX design in digital products and services, and how emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Virtual/Augmented Reality are redefining UX design practices. The role that UX plays in promoting inclusivity and accessibility in design will also be highlighted, responding to the growing demands for diversity in today's marketplace. Lastly, the importance of UX professionals staying abreast of current trends and developing the skills required to stay relevant in the ever-changing marketplace will be emphasized.
Speaker biography:
Jorge Avilés is a Computer Engineer from ESPOL with postgraduate studies in the EMPSE (European Master on Software Engineering) program at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Currently a tenured professor of subjects such as User Experience Design and Human Machine Interaction at the University of Guayaquil, he also manages the Software area of the Software Engineering career. He has worked for more than 15 years managing software projects in consultancies in the country; since 2015 he has led User Experience projects that range from research to the delivery of digital products from various sectors in national and regional companies.
